This page of pictures is taken from Volume 1 Issue 1 of ‘Monthly Soccer’ Magazine, September 1969.
Included in the photos are Avenue players John Mann and Geoff Parsons, and Hendon’s John Baker and Paul Collett.
If anyone knows the competition/ date/ result/ scorers please drop me a line. Since the caption mentions Hendon’s 5th goal, presumably it’s that season’s Isthmian League game, in which Hendon ran out easy 7-0 winners.
The ground pictured is Hendon’s recently defunct Claremont Road.
